The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) is seeking input from the construction materials testing community to help inform the redesign of its Construction Materials Testing (CMT) certification program. Whether you currently hold a NICET CMT certification, held one in the past, or have never been certified by NICET, your perspective is valuable.
As part of the Feasibility Study, an expert panel of subject matter experts (SMEs) representing diverse areas of expertise within the CMT profession recently met and developed two potential approaches for redesigning the CMT certification program, in addition to recommending updates to the program's non-examination certification requirements.
