Digital Credentials

These secure, digital representations of NICET’s credentials will provide certified engineering technicians with the capability to easily manage, display and share their accomplishment digitally. The latest versions will include an embedded name and certification number of the credential earner using similar blockchain technology of crypto currency.

Digital Credentials were issued to the NICET Board of Governors in September and then IB-PSC certified individuals in November, December, and January. All current certifications for active programs are expected by July 1, 2025.

Certified individuals in NICET’s available technician certification programs will receive an email with instructions to access and share in the coming weeks.
