Policy 36: Verification of Job Performance
(Implemented September 2008)
Through third-party verification of the candidate's work experience, NICET gains assurance that the candidate has acquired specific, job-related knowledge and competencies.
Verification will be accepted from responsible, qualified individuals who meet established criteria, including familiarity with the candidate's job performance and absence of conflict-of-interest. NICET will not accept verifications performed by any other party on behalf of the verifier.
Violation of this policy will result in the penalties listed in NICET Policy 2 Parts C.1 and C.2.
