The Content Outlines, also known as "practice analyses", lay out the major responsibilities, tasks, knowledge, and skills associated with each level of certification in the upcoming, revised program; they will also serve as the outline of exam content for the standardized, computer-based tests.
Water-Based Fire Protection Systems Layout (formerly Automatic Sprinkler Systems Layout)
Volunteers began writing new test questions for this program in January 2008. As of October 2008, more than 1000 questions had been written. NICET is seeking qualified sprinkler system layout technicians (Level IV or equivalent experience) or engineers to write test questions.
