Highway Materials Work Element Credit for ACI Certification

You'll have a head start in meeting NICET's examination requirement for the Transportation Engineering Technology subfield of Highway Materials if you have one or more of the following ACI certifications:

• Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
• Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Grade I
• Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Grade II

By submitting a photocopy of the front and back of your current ACI wallet card, you'll automatically receive credit for selected work elements. No supervisor verifications are necessary for work elements posted to your record through ACI Grade I certification. You must, however, provide verifications for those work elements exempted through the ACI Grade II certification.

On your Personal Tally Sheet (found in the Highway Materials Program Detail Manual) mark an "A" next to the exempted work element numbers.
